The apartment is located in the 10th arrondissement, one of the areas best connected in the whole of Paris: Republique is second only to Chatelet for the number of subway lines stopping there. Centre of Paris life outside the traditional tourist paths, this area is located by the Marais, a quaint district filled with interesting boutiques of refined artists and designers, and the Canal Saint Martin, an artificial canal much appreciated by the locals who have chosen it as their favorite place for quiet picnics in the warmest months of the year.
