Refund and Cancellation Policy

Welcome to Araya Paris. We value your business and want to ensure clarity on our terms regarding refunds and cancellations. Please read this policy carefully before making a booking.

1. General Payment Terms

• A 25% Down Payment (“caparra”) is required to secure the booking. This Down Payment is non-refundable.
• The remaining Balance (the difference between the Total Rental Price and the Down Payment) must be paid no later than 14 days before the start of the rental period (or 1 month before check-in, if specified in the Booking Terms). Failure to pay on time may result in the cancellation of your reservation and/or denial of access to the apartment.

2. Cancellation Before the Rental Period

• If you cancel before the start of the rental period, the 25% Down Payment already paid will be retained by Araya as agreed-upon liquidated damages and will not be refunded.

3. Cancellation After the Rental Period Has Begun

• If you cancel after the rental period has started, the Total Rental Price (including all amounts paid up to that point) will be fully retained by Araya as agreed-upon liquidated damages. No refunds will be issued.

4. No-Show Policy

• In the event of a no-show (i.e., you do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice), the booking will be treated as a cancellation after the rental period has begun, and no refund will be provided.

5. Changes to Your Booking

• Any request to change the dates or the apartment type after the booking is confirmed is subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Such requests must be sent via email to info@araya.paris. We will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee that changes will be possible.
• Should the change result in a shorter stay, our standard cancellation policy will apply to the canceled nights.

6. Refund Processing

• Where a partial or full refund is due (in rare cases, such as overpayment or agreed-upon special exceptions), refunds will be processed via the original payment method used at the time of booking.
• Refund requests must be submitted in writing by sending an email to info@araya.paris.
• Once approved, please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to be processed, depending on your financial institution.
