Area description

The apartment is located in the historical Marais, in the 3rd arrondissement, which is one of the most exciting shopping areas in Paris. It is at a 2 minute walking distance from the Picasso Museum and the Place des Vosges (Vosges square), the construction of which was requested by King Henri IV at the beginning of the 17th century, in a brick and stone architecture unique in Paris, with an homogeneous square design and lovely arcades. A large portion of the 3rd belongs to the world-famous Le Marais district. Once a haunt of Parisian nobility, Le Marais today is a melting pot of cultures and styles. Cobbled streets lead past chic cafes where locals sip coffee and trendy restaurants serving global cuisine. High-end fashion stores mingle with vintage shops, offering a shopping experience that caters to all tastes. Public transport: Closest Metro: SAINT SEBASTIEN FROISSART ( Line 8) SAINT PAUL (Line 1)
